About Product
Hydronaut achieves the best thermal conductivity effects (11.8 W/mk) in large and medium-sized cooling systems, also in liquid cooling systems. It is extremely safe to use, as it does not conduct electricity and can be used in cooling systems with aluminium components. Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut is not time-curing.

WorkedBought it to change thermal paste on my Asus nv80vd as the temperature reaches it maximum 100 degree temp when playing games. This thermal paste works as it decreases the temperature on my laptop dowm to 70 degrees so it worked.

This is a must for laptopsAmazing thermal paste for CPU and GPU. Decided to repaste my laptop, gaming GPU temps were 80-85, idle was 50+ when plugged in. Repasted my CPU and GPU with Hydronaut using the “Line Method”. As for the VRM components, i used K5-pro thermal paste to replace the thermal pads on the VRMs. Gaming GPU temps dropped to 60 on same fan speed (Insane drop i know). Idling temps dropped to high 40s. This is a must for laptops. Try not to get kryonaut for laptops because they start out good, but burn out pretty fast. Hydronaut is better, and easy to spread as well. Get the K5-pro for the VRMs, do not use K5-pro on CPU or GPU. Good luck and please repaste! PS: Remove battery before u repaste or drain it to zero if undetachable. IT IS A MUST OR U RISK SHORTING MOTHERBOARD.

Fantastic performance, easy to applyI think the picture tells a thousand words.I bought this thermal grease because one of my servers was showing unusual high temperatures while under heavier load. This is important for me as this machines runs 24×7 non stop all year. I found it had the factory thermal pad and all was correctly assembled. However, this is a consumer machine and probably not meant for always-on. Reading about it I also found that different thermal grease compounds perform differently and found the Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut to be among the best in reviews. So I decided to try it. My servers uses LibreHardwareMonitor to keep logs of CPU load and temperature so I thought it would be easy to compare.Appling the thermal grease is easy. It comes on a syringe and has an accessory to help spread the grease flat and uniform. Assembled everything back together and powered it on. Today I was curious and checked the LibreHardwareMonitor logs. It’s a fact that the temperatures came down quite a bit. Makes sense. The grease transmits the thermal energy faster to the heat sink which in turn dissipates it. The CPU does not accumulate as much thermal energy. I’m an happy customer. On the pictures you’ll see that around 2AM CPU load increases. That’s the file server backups and the virtual machines backups running. On the top 2 graphs you’ll notice temperatures are higher at that point in time than in the bottom 2 graphs which are from the 21/10/2020 after applying this thermal grease.

The BestI can not say much else, for AIOs and Tower Coolers, this is the best, by far, with no direct competition.You may be told MX-4 is as good, it is not, I’ve done direct comparisons with CPUs and GPUs and this thermally is around 5% better, I’ve been using it on multiple devices since the date of purchase and have not had to re-paste, even though I run things is non ideal conditions at high thermal envelopes.

Excellent Thermal PasteGreat thermal paste, dropped my temperatures by ~5 C from my old silver paste. Spreads quite well, no issues at all with the application. The resalable bag is very convenient and the removable applicator tip is the best I have used on a thermal paste.

Better than thermal paste supplied with water blocks / AIO’sStuff is pretty awesome. Have a 5950x with a water block. When using the thermal paste supplied with the block temps were high 70’s C. Replaced it with Hydronaut and now the temps never go above 70 C.

-8 degrees at gpusuper like! my gpu went from 85 to 76 degrees Celsius witch clearly indicates the performance of this thermal paste. (stock air cooling) .i would buy again. plus it comes with two paste spreaders/scrapers.

Might be great but wouldn’t know, arrived broken.Waited about 2 weeks for it to show up which sucks as its been holding up my computer build, It arrived today and the tip had broken off, not sure if it happened in transit as the paper thin plastic bag offered 0 protection or if it happened before that if so when? Either way will be returning as its unacceptable and I no longer trust the thermal conductivity. Very disappointing.

Used on GPU noticed difference immediatelyI used this on my main GPU in my gaming PC and I noticed temperatures drop immediately after application and having tested with furmark over several successive passes.Pros:- Easy applicator- With proper installation you should notice the difference immediately- Great for GPUs or other scenarios where you need a non conductive non curing compoundCons:- Some wasted paste will end up in applicator after use if you need to seal up the tube (maybe have a cap for the applicator)?- Storage bag is rather large

Best value from Thermal GrizzlyIt’s expensive paste but it’s one of the cheaper pastes from Thermal Grizzly and you won’t notice the difference from Kryonaut.Kryonaut also contains silicone, which could be bad in some instances because it’s not a very good conductor of heat and it makes pastes more runny and oily. Hydronaut doesn’t contain such oil.
