Product Description
Thermal Grizzly
Thermal Grizzly offers the perfect solution with the PCIe 4.0 x16 30cm TG Riser Cable.
PCI Express 4.0 offers maximum transfer speeds for recent GPUs such as Nvidia RTX 30 and AMD RX 6000 series. Many PC cases offer vertical mounts for the GPU which requires the physical extension of the GPU from the motherboard. Thermal Grizzly offers the perfect solution for this requirement with the PCIe 4.0 x16 30cm riser cable.
Following the PCIe 4.0 x16 specifications, the individual wires are shielded and combined to 5 wire pairs. Two grounded mounting holes allow to fix the socket to your case or wherever it’s required.

I was having issues booting my PC using a Phanteks premium riser cable, I could force PCIe Gen3 and it would work most of the time but occasionally would still refuse to boot.
After swapping to this cable, I can now boot up in PCIe Gen4 mode and without any issue at all. I have also ran a lot of stress tests in 3DMark without any crashes.

I bought this because my new video card completely covered a third bay on my motherboard and I lost access to one of my PCI-E ports. This allowed me to plug into the port covered by the video card and mount it further towards the bottom of the case. I’m currently running a PCI-E hard drive on one, and a non-built in sound card on another and have had 0 issue in the hundredish hours both have been running off the cables.

Don’t know if there was one with a shorter cord but this one is a little long the Thermaltake P3 case so i had to bend it in weird ways but because of how flexible it is it i managed to get it in place

I was skeptical at first because you hear about some PCIe riser cables being unstable, I was really expecting issues. But Not a single issue. Ran 45 mins heaven benchmark, multiple time spy runs, 1 hr of elden ring (4 deaths…), 30 mins of Control on ultra. at 5120 x 1440p and not a single crash, artifacting or drop in performance.
