General information
Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad Extreme is a thermal pad made of modified silicone that is best suited for electrical components such as PCs, notebooks, LED or LCD devices, semiconductors or transformers. It is also used for RAM, CPUs or GPUs. In general, it can be used for any component that uses a metal housing as a heat sink. Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad Extreme is currently available in the following sizes: 100 mm x 100 mm and 120 mm x 20 mm and thickness between 0.5 and 3 mm.

The Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad Extreme can operate seamlessly over a temperature range of -100°C to +200°C, making it ideal for configurations with extremely demanding applications and also ideal for industrial environments. It is ideal for water cooling and components exposed to OC.
The Minus Pad Extreme features even higher compressibility and elasticity as well as dielectric properties.
Applications:
When the Minus Pad Extreme is removed, there are significantly fewer scratches on component surfaces. Applications: Motherboard chipset, memory modules, graphics card memory and core, notebooks.
About Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad Extreme

- Properties: The thermal pad is silicone based with modelling clay like consistency. This allows a perfect surface shaping with maximum possible compression. The minus pad extreme is electrically insulating. Due to the consistency only one-time use is recommended. The thermal conductivity was improved by about 260 % over the minus pad 8 which allows best cooling for tough cooling operations such as voltage regulators and memory ICs.

Losty –
If the Ps4 is loud, it’s time to take a closer look at the cooling. Normally, the cheap thermal paste dries out and the cooling pads used ex works on the memory chips are not good enough. Unfortunately, here was definitely saved in the wrong places.
Exchanged the existing guide pads by Thermal Grizzly Pads, the HDMI chip is also directly glued (uncooled from the factory) and in the same course the old thermal paste on the CPU replaced by new thermal grizzly and already the Playse runs as quietly as never before.
Of course, the thermal paste and pads also provide best services for PC or other surfaces whose heat is to be dissipated to something else.
I can only recommend.

Super pads. Almost like new after more than 6 months in the console. I looked in yesterday for the first time since installation, super satisfied.
Apart from the prints from the sheet metal, they are still all over the square and still have their normal thickness. (Not crushed or ripped like Arctic Thermal Pads)
So in terms of performance and that for the price, definitely only recommended!!!

I bought these thermal pads because they are often called very good and often praised. The thermal pads also costs more than other thermal pastes and since I never had them before I wanted to test them with my RTX 2080 graphics card. It is a water-cooled system and the graphics card comes from factory already original with a water cooler from EK Water Blocks.
The thermal insulation pads are easy to stick on and obviously also bring a good quality. They are also very soft and therefore adapt very well. So at first I had the feeling that they had to be really good. But the result was very disappointing afterwards.
Because after I replaced the original thermal pads from EK Water Blocks from my graphics card and started my system, I couldn’t start a single game anymore. The video card clocked so hard that a game could no longer be loaded. This was because the voltage converters became so hot that the graphics card itself so that the voltage converters did not get too hot.

I had an old asus laptop, an N55SF to be precise, that was constantly overheating, its i7 4th gen processor clocking down to 800mhz, so i removed the cpu cooler, applied liquid metal and noticed the VRMS were cooled with thermal adhesive glue rather than pads, akthough it can be argued they are more thermally conductive it is important to note that they do not fill all the micro cracks and imperfections in cooliing plates and even the cpu/gpu die’s themselves micro air gaps cause heat build up.
Using Isopropyl Alcohol, some cotton buds and a lot of elbow grease I cleaned it up, applied liquid metal and then on the VRMS used these thermal Pads to replace the adhesive.
Lo and behold the temps were at 82 degrees under full load while hitting 4.0ghz boost on all 4 cores

The thermal pads are very good, good thermal conductivity value as Thermal Grizzly thermal paste Kryonaut, they are super products. With the thermal pads do not forget to pull the protective films down and preferably with tweezers and gloves because every fat has on hand and that would be bad for heat transfer, because fat would act as an insulator. Otherwise highly recommended. Have ne Leadtek Gtx 275 with chip clock: 633MHz, memory clock: 1134MHz, Shader clock: 1404MHz would overclocked on
GPU clock 761 MHz
memory clock 1550 MHz
Shader clock 1267 MHz
And my processor Phenom ii x4 820 the with 2,8 Ghz to 3667.8 MHz so 3,6 Ghz everything runs stable.

I came here after watching a youtube video on how to make my PS4 Pro run quietly. I had stripped my console right back a few times in the past to remove dust which collects in the heat sink, but the jet engine kept coming back when graphically demanding games were being played, so I figured it was time to do something about it! This product is excellent when bought together with the Thermal Grizzly compound. What you will notice when replacing the thermal pads is, the originals are tiny and not adequate. The first set you replace on the memory chips are small, so be careful to take your time getting them cut just right. The second set of pads you replace under that aluminium cover are going to be much larger than the originals, these are much easier to fit. I gave it a good test today and its silent! This product really is the muts nuts. One thing I would suggest BEFORE you fit these is to strip your console right back and clean that fan and heatsink first. Take your time and have a black marker to help you remember where the black screws go.
If you already know what your doing then just buy this stuff! You cant even compare it to the original junk thats on there. You even get two strips in the pack!
