Ideal where space is limitedIn contrast to normal case fans with a thickness of 25 mm, the P12 SLIM PWM PST has an installation depth of only 15 mm. This makes it a predestined fan for small form factor builds. |
Extended Life SpanA 10 °C lower motor temperature roughly doubles the life span of a fan.The new ARCTIC motor has a four times longer service life through its low coil temperature. |
300 to 2100 RPM regulated via PWM PSTWith a wide range of regulation and the PWM Sharing Technology (PST), the P12 SLIM PWM PST fan speed can be controlled synchronously with all your other fans together. This keeps noise at a minimum while guaranteeing maximum cooling performance when needed. |
Optimised for static pressureDuring the development of the new P12 SLIM PWM PST, special emphasis was placed on a focused airstream and thus a high static pressure. The fan guarantees extremely efficient cooling, even with increased air resistance. Therefore, the P12 SLIM PWM PST is particularly suitable for use on covered case vents or inlets with filters. |

This slim fan has definitely solved the problem of CPU temperature in a mini itx case, with very low noise and a really effective airflow, mounted on a SilverStone SST case. RVZ02B with i5 10400 cpu above the same fan as the heatsink, as seen in the picture mounted directly on the side grille of the case, decreased noise and cpu temperature -7° base -15° in stress, board well cooled mother therefore also ram and ssd emc, really a great product. There is also a bypass integrated in the fan cable to connect other fans and this also works well, having only the connection of pins 1 and 2 for the three-pin fans so as not to jeopardize the fan control system.

Great fans. Quiet but very effective.

Really incredible that a fan of this quality can cost so little. The shape of the blades is not only aesthetically attractive, but also does a good job. However, it is preferable to keep around 1800 rpm for a system that seems fanless.
As a level of silence, we are almost at the level of the excellent SilverStone SST-FW124-ARGB (fantastically inaudible), but they cost three times as much.
It should be emphasized and appreciated that the fan comes with two sets of screws, the normal ones found in all fans and four long screws to be able to apply the fan to a radiator. Great.

These push more air than almost all of the expensive fans are barely audible at max speed. If they stay as silent as they are now for a few years these might be the best fans I have ever bought.

First of all, the company: impeccable service; my request to have it as soon as possible was delivered to me in 48 hours! As far as the fan is concerned, it is an Arctic product of the highest quality; almost inaudible noise level, fair price quality and above all very high air flow and performance cooling. Highly recommended.

Great airflow but lots of minor drawbacksFirst off, these fans work great – it moves air really well at reasonable noise level and is pretty cheap. They aren’t quite as silent as I would have expected, but not terrible by any means. Still I had two main problems with these fans:1. The fans themselves resonate between roughly 1280-1380 rpm and also near max rpm. It’s not anything inside the case. Only when touching the back of the fan hub can you mitigate some of the noise.2. The colour and design is much uglier in person. The colour is actually a beige-y off-white so it doesn’t match the brighter, cooler whites in modern cases. This further accentuates the dated trim design of the fan when installed next to modern components. I didn’t think they would look this out of place from just the pictures alone.

Excellent Fans Both 120mm-140mmI got Both 120mm & 140mm 5-Packs, The 120mm’s are really good, very quiet and move a good amount of air on my Radiators, Even at full speed mostly silent. The 140mm’s move a fair amount more air but are much louder, it’s not like deafening but it’s more noticeable than the 120mm’s.Another thing that is a minor annoyance, one of my 140mm fans had the plastic strip out so one of the holes would not tighten, I know how to make new threads on plastics so it’s not a huge deal for me but it’s not a good look when my brand new fans strip out during installation.I’ll put the specs so you can compare.Fan:120 mm, 1 800 RPM (@12 V DC) 140 mm, 1 700 RPM (@ 12 V DC)Air Flow:56.3 CFM (95.65 m³/h) 72.8 CFM (123.76 m³/h)Noise Level:0.3 Sone (@ 1 800 RPM) 0.3 Sone (@ 1 700 RPM)Static Pressure:2.2 mm H2O (@ 1 800 U/min) 2.4 mm H2O

That thing pushes some airPros: I put it on exhaust and it’s quite impressive how this thing can push air through the grille. It’s very silent. A huge difference from the stock Fractal Design that came with my Define 7.What a nice surprise. If you don’t mind the very basic looks in an era of RGB, this fan offers extraordinary cost/benefit ratio.Cons: The wire is short. I can’t have the fan on intake in my case, as the wire won’t make it to the fan hub. But then again, this is a long case – it may work in yours. No colour option, no RGB, nothing. It doesn’t look too great on my white case.Overall, it’s a nice surprise. Great air pressure, low noise and great price. I dare to say it’s the sweetest spot among all the 140mm right now.

Seem to push a fair bit of air for their size. They are easy to install in any computer with a spare fan power plug on your motherboard. I installed 2 in the top of my midtower case (the size of these is best suited for a case smaller than a typical mid tower) Since installing them it does seem like the other fans in my pc don’t need to work as hard which is nice because the oem case fans are much louder than these. For the price I paid (something like 5$ each) Grab a few stock up, and stick a couple in your next pc build. While they might not push as much air as a bigger fan but it’ll still help keep things cooler.

Well designed and quietUnlike some other fans advertised as “quiet”, the Arctic F12 really is. At the normal idling speed of 300 rpm, it is virtually silent. Of course, at higher speeds, it’ll make some noise, but if your PC runs hot enough to require driving these fans at higher rpm, noise is probably not your biggest concern.Note that these fans come only with the small 3-pin Molex connector. If your PC only has the larger 4-pin ATX connectors, you’d need an adapter. Also note that to use the thermal sensor functionality and the higher rpm, you’d need to connect the fans to 12VDC – the yellow wire in most ATX/Molex connectors. The fans will run with the 5VDC (red wire), but only at the idle 300 rpm speed.
