The EK-Nucleus AIO CR240 Lux D-RGB is an all-in-one liquid cooling solution offering a stylish fan-like gradient lighting effect on the pump unit to suit your needs for contemporary addressable RGB aesthetics. It is designed to fit most popular cases on the market today and features a double fan setup with a slim 240mm radiator. Compatible with most modern processors, it is also ready for the next-gen Intel socket.
Addressable RGB Lighting
Customize your all-in-one system to match your setup with its fully addressable RGB lighting effects. This closed-loop liquid CPU cooler offers a plug-and-play solution with a fan-like D-RGB lighting effect around the pump top for all who search for that perfect RGB AIO aesthetics.
This product is compatible with popular RGB sync technologies from all major motherboard manufacturers. The arrow marking on the 3-pin LED connector is to be aligned with the +5V marking on the addressable RGB (D-RGB) header.
Rotatable Pump Top
The top allows you to re-orient the D-RGB EK badge no matter in which direction the cooler is installed. The orientation can be changed in 90° increments, so if the cooler is installed upside down, rotate it 180 degrees to display the logo right side up. Regardless of the angle needed to install the AIO, it will always offer clean and aligned aesthetics.
New Positioning of Rotary Fittings
The AIO CR240 Lux comes pre-installed with reinforced and sleeved rubber tubing, now featuring finer threads. The fittings are covered with an aesthetic black radiator cover at the connection of the tubing and the radiator to ensure a sleek design and flushed line with the added fans.
The improved position of rotary fittings on the other side, which are now placed next to each other, allows the EK-Nucleus AIO to be installed in even the tightest spaces.
Daisy-chainable Fans
To reduce cable clutter and the number of headers that need to be utilized on the motherboard or fan controller, EK-Loop FPT fans allow daisy-chaining through EK-OmniLink technology.
EK-OmniLink – allows daisy chaining of multiple fans, thus reducing cable clutter and greatly easing cable management. The Omni-Link ecosystem of interconnects will be greatly expanded in the near future, allowing additional benefits to users. It uses Micro-fit 8-pin connectors between products. The EK-OmniLink design resolves the cable clutter issues of unifying the connection of multiple fans onto a single PWM and D-RGB header while still maintaining full flexibility if the user wants to remove a single fan from the chain.
EK-Loop FPT Fans
EK-Loop Fan FPT 120 D-RGB is a 120mm high-static pressure computer cooling fan designed and built primarily for the highest-performance computer liquid cooling systems. FPT fans feature a full-frame design that prevents air from escaping outside the frame, thus achieving better static pressure.
Diamond-cut Brushed Aluminum Side Panels
This AIO features an aluminum side plate put on a lathe, and part of the panel’s surface is machined off to leave a shiny alloy finish.
Universally Compatible and Easy to Install
All EK-Nucleus AIOs come with a universally compatible CPU water block, fitting all the latest Intel and AMD CPU sockets. The installation process is very straightforward, thanks to the included manual and mounting mechanism. This product requires enough space to mount a single slim 240mm radiator, making it compatible with almost all modern cases.
A special tool is included that allows users to screw down and tighten the stand-offs easily without hurting their fingers. This is another benefit to the user experience while mounting this AIO.

Here is a summary of my experience: Cooling performance: The cooling performance of the EK-Nucleus CR240 Lux D-RGB is impressive. Thanks to the 240 mm radiator size and efficient fans, the CPU temperature remains low even under high loads. Design & processing: The cooler is visually appealing and has a high-quality finish. The integrated RGB LEDs ensure a stylish appearance and can be individually adjusted. Control: A big advantage is the direct control of RGB lighting, pump speed and fan speed via the mainboard, without additional software. This simplifies handling and saves system resources. Installation:Installation of the cooler is straightforward and all necessary mounting materials are included. Cool and quiet. Dropped my temps a lot.
My temps never go above 70 even in cinebench with a 5800x.

Overall very good
I needed a new cooler to replace an Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240 on 7950x in a Lian Li Q58 due to it getting too warm and also because I could not close the side panel. This EK AIO has no reviews as of this review but I have built many custom loops with EK components before so I was comfortable with the brand.The packaging of the AIO and specifically the mounting hardware would put Apple to shame. It was a wonderful experience unboxing the cooler.For the fans, originally I planned on swapping them out and replace with Noctua IPPC 2000 RPM fans. Upon receiving the aio, I decided to keep the fans as is for multiple reasons. One these are RGB and have a custom 7 pin (PWM and aRGB) connector for daisy chain making cable management easier. The fans can run at full speed of 2400 RPM and pushes decent amount of air while staying remarkably quiet. Not Noctua-quiet but very close.Pump: the pump in this AIO is the only PWM pump in the market that I am aware of which makes EK unique. At 80% PWM the pump runs at 2900 RPM and is extremely quiet to the point I could not hear it even if Iturn off all the fans. The arctic liquid freezer II claims to have PWM pump also but that is false advertising as the only component that supports PWM are the fans.Performance: running Ryzen 7950x without undervolting or overclocking, fans at 2100 RPM (pretty quiet), CPU sitting at a cool 56 degrees C during a 10 min Cinebench R23 run, for which it scored 34K. Running the CPU with auto boost and PBO, fans at 2400 rpm (louder but not too bad), CPU settled at 82 C and scored 38K.The only issue I encountered is the threads on the radiator. Not all the mounting points are fully tapped and it took some force to use the screws as tap.

As the release in Japan is slow, I bought it privately.Cooling performance, quietness, intuitive assembly, looks and prices are all high standards and excellent water-cooled coolers.Thank you for the good product.

A bit too tall for Lian-Li Dan A4-H20
Packaging was fantastic, everything was well placed and well protected from any damage. Installation was a breeze, though the screw holes in the radiator needed a bit of force. One main issue was the height, i had to leave the top logo plate off in order to be able to close the side panel on the Lian-Li Dan A4-H20 case, otherwise it would stick out about 3-4mm preventing me from closing the side of the case. With the logo plate off, theres about 1mm clearance left. Its only been a day so far, so will need to see how it performs in the next few days.
