The basis for calculation is the temperature difference between the cooler base and the heat source (in C) in relation to the applied heat load (in W), which also results in the unit C/W. Good thermal paste, all in all recommendedI replaced the thermal paste on my notebook a couple of months ago now, all in all I was happy, the average temperatures decreased by a few degrees, the only thing I found a little difficult to install because it is quite dense, but a little familiarity is enough.

This new model of thermal paste is pretty consistent and I wouldn’t advise putting it like a glob squashed by the AIO etc. It’s not like the brand’s previous pastes that were like a cream and would spread easily under pressure. I would recommend covering the 4 edges of the CPU with a wide packing tape so that the socket does not get dirty etc. and spread it in a thin layer all over the CPU manually with a plastic spatula or, in my case, a piece of flexible plastic. My advice is motivated because this new model has much more consistency and a friend who built a PC a few days later found that no matter how hard he pressed the pump to remove it, the sticky paste left behind was not well spread over the entire surface of the CPU. Some may say that then it is better to put more quantity, but thermal pastes transmit well with thin layers well spread over the entire surface, with too much the effect can be the opposite (CPU overheating). I hope that this model will last me at least 5/6 years without changing it and if it reaches the 8 that the manufacturer certifies, it would be almost a miracle on a 16-core CPU.

I find it quite thick. Applied at 5 points on an I-5 13600 kf with an Asus TUF gaming LC 240 AIO. Resting temperature 27/28 degrees… In full load (cinebench) I went up to 75 degrees… It’s been a few weeks and I don’t see any increase in temperature. Some other brands are quite famous for quickly losing efficiency and personally I’m not going to have fun changing the paste every 6 months… Fully satisfied! Next step: bring a PS4 back to life which is too hot.

Dayummmmm those are THICK I ever worked with, Ive been with MX-4 for long time and didnt try the Mx-5 and ordered the MX-6, Came in and cleaned my 13900kf real good then installed lga1700 correct seating and put new MX6 in, man those are thick hard to spread but I used the spreader and took a bit to get it all and tighten in pattern little by a time since its so thick so I wanted to seat it nicely So right now my 13900kf non overclocked at 5.5 ghz boost reading 29-31c idling and havent seen it past 62-64c full load in game, ( NFS Unbound tends to run cpu hotter than most games and it hasnt went past 66c)Am I happy with this from Mx4? I’d say yes, thicker is good darker grey, handle the heat pretty niceBTW Im using Corsair H150i Elite with SL120 V1 fans, idling fans always on 20% load runs 29-32c nicely Im happy, Buy it! I’ll be putting that on my Asus TUF 4090 later on

Excellent paste, much better than the mx5External appearance: The thermal paste syringe looks like its predecessor, the mx5, in the classic cardboard containing the syringe, nothing more and nothing less. Usage: The paste is the classic gray paste that we can also find in other brands, unlike the mx5 which was blue and difficult to spread, the mx6 is much more viscous and less dense. Even in terms of temperatures it seems to me that it behaves much better, before my processor reached 83 degrees, now I’m on 79/80 in full use. I’ll see in terms of duration in a year and I’ll update the review in case. conclusions: I was looking for a thermal paste and I was undecided between this, the grizzly and the cooler master, in the end the mx6 is unbeatable in terms of quality/price/performance, so I opted for this one and for now I am very satisfied, I highly recommend it

Quality, even if difficult to spreadI made a thermal paste change on my Asus Rog Strix G15 with i5 10th and GTX 1650ti. Previously it mounted liquid metal on CPU while on GPU and capacitors there is simple paste thermal stock. I bought a 4g syringe of Artic MX-6, which was enough. Having said that, I would like to specify that it is difficult to spread and does not stick very well to smooth surfaces, they should include a scoop to spread it (I used a plastic ice cream spoon). Replacing liquid metal with high thermal conductivity with simple thermal paste may seem crazy but I assure you that , at least on my laptop, it heats up less. With the liquid metal my keyboard literally burned, now in the gaming session it remains warm but never excessively. It’s a good solution👌🏼

great thermal pasteprosit works really well one of the bestyou get plenty.its easy to useconscould have a spreader could have old paste removerit works really well, its a very good product. anyone who needs thermal paste or searches for it knows this brand is top notch. The only negative is there is no spreader or wipes for old paste. You can use your finger or thin piece of plastic and a little alcohol on a wipe. Its not a big deal but that would have been a nice touch.if you are worried about getting good thermal paste, theres no need to worry with this brand.

Le meilleurs des deux mondesPremière fois que j’opte pour une pate thermique d’une grande marque, apparemment très réputé pour aider le ventirad à refroidir le CPU, j’ai opté pour la meilleurs gamme soit la MX-6, et très franchement je suis très surpris de voir mon CPU à moins de 30° constant (en usage normal) et moins de 50° en jeuAlors qu’avec une pate thermique de base, je chauffais déjà pas mal, je me rapprochais très dangereusement des 80° en jeu. La pâte est en effet un élément crucial dans la mise en place d’une configuration, je l’ai quelque peu négligé en pensant que la pâte thermique proposé par le fabricant de mon kit WC AIO devait suffire. Un conseil, optez pour cette pâte magique, elle est excellente !

Amazing cooling properties!!Long story short, I had a laptop break down through overheating and needed a lot of info from it. Needed a new board so…… I bought a used laptop the same spec just to do an SSD swap and fix a bad problem fast.I remembered my old laptop used to give blue screen of death a couple of times just before it died and gave the reason as gfx card/driver so I checked the new (old) laptop and saw the GPU was running at 90 degrees!!So, I bought this paste as one of the latest ones out and found it easy to apply but it needed spreading because its too thick to do it itself. Now my GPU is running at 68 degrees (while hard gaming) so success.Id recommend everyone with a laptop 2-4 years old should do this if they think its running hot. Very easy to do and I have absolutely no tech experience at all!
